In addition, internal audits are conducted regularly as part the Quality Management System. An internal audit plan is used to define the audit scope, documentation required, and supporting documentation.

The Central Quality Assurance personnel as well as the Local Quality personnel both play an important role in the daily quality aspects at the sites.
